So, I just did it myself!

OK, I just went and made a shirt myself. All about Pittsburgh football and Christmas spirit, rolled into one. It's also available in a card, ornament, button, mug and more!!! So, I'm (once again, for lack of new designs) giving myself the 'Pittsburgh Shirt of the Week."

Have a great Thanksgiving!!!! (gobble, gobble!)

A bit of slacking...

OK, I will be the first to recognize the fact that I've been slacking on this blog. No excuses from me. Really. But I'm getting back in the swing now. I recently received an email from a reader, and he designs Pittsburgh themed shirts. They're very affordable, and the look nice! Here's a sample and a link.

There are a few other great football shirts here, too. Here's the link to his store: Burgh Shirts

So, I'm dedicated to posting regularly here. Really. Hopefully you'll find some good holiday gifts. I am also re-doing the Shirts-N-At site. I will be including some official merchandise, including jewelry. Just as soon as the small people in my house give me a little bit of peace and quiet. Usually that's not until they're asleep.

In the mean time, feel free to check out my profile on a few other sites. And become my friend.

MySpace (the classic social networking site)
FaceBook (I'm still getting my profile together, but we can be friends)
Kaboodle (I like this place!!! It's strictly for shopping!)
StumbleUpon (EXTREMELY addictive)

Because I miss my Daddy

Hello all! Here's the shirt of the week. I've chosen this for two reasons. First of all, it's a recent addition to a shop at CafePress. Second of all, my Dad was a Pittsburgh Police Officer (Ray Sarnowski) and he is now in Florida. He's been there for about 10 years. And I miss him :)
This is the 'newer' patch. I believe that there is already a shirt with the older one at Shirts-N-At. Hey...enjoy this great weekend weather. I'm heading to Rock the Quarry tonight with the little ones! For more info on that, see www.panhandletrail.org.

OK, here is the shirt of the week, and it's from Tunesmith & Anthony. Here's a link to their blog. Funny, funny, funny.

Enjoy your weekend! I hope that it doesn't rain enough to change plans. We're headed to the Blues Fest in Carnegie this weekend....and next weekend is Rock the Quarry at the Panhandle Trail

Slim Pickings!

OK, I have to say that it's slim pickings on Cafepress and Zazzle for Pittsburgh shirts. I tried to find something about Pitt today, and nothing good. My hubby is at the game, and I am here, working. So, I've chosen one of my own shirts as shirt of the week. I didn't really want to do this, but some of you people need to give me some more options!!! So, here is my 'Gumbands' shirt. Classic Pittsburgh word. This designs come on plenty of different color/style shirts.

Pittsburgh means construction...

Hello, and Happy Saturday! This week's shirt simply has a pic of the Parkway East, just before the Squirrel Hill Tunnels. This is for when you miss this view this summer. Many weekends you can't necessarily see the view any further than this. Oh well.....tis the season. Enjoy your weekend!

I got all fancy and grown up

Hello all! It's Saturday, and that means that I pick the 'Shirt of the Week.' This week isn't funny, or mean, or even sarcastic. It's nice. It's pretty. And I like it:

So how about that? I can act like a mature adult sometimes. And not just all fakey, either. I really like it. Go figure!

Down with Steely McBeam

One of the latest topics around Pittsburgh has been how much we don't like that damn Steely McBeam. For a multitude of reasons. I don't want the hatred to pass. I've signed a petition to get rid of that damn mascot (see brainlint.blogspot.com), and now I think that we should wear our hatred. Here's what I've done:

Click here to check it out. Here are some examples:

Polish Pittsburgher, baby

Ok, this week's shirt of the week is in celebration of two things. One is that this past Tuesday was Polish day at Kennywood
The other is that we're going to a festival in Carnegie tonight, and I know I'll be able to get some good Polish food.

Now, there seem to be some problems with the affiliate site for CafePress...no pics showing up. Hopefully that will be fixed shortly. This shirt, just in case there is no pic, says "polka" and has a man playing the accordion. Love it.

Have a great weekend!

Celebrate Steeler Season!

OK, in honor of the fact that there's A FOOTBALL GAME ON TOMORROW, I have chosen the shirt of the week with the Steeler Football Baby. This is old school, and I love it. Reminds me of my gram. Oh..and those hats they used to knit out of Iron City cans. I think we should bring those back!!!! Anyway....here it is:

Enjoy the game, and stay cool!

Um....Little help?

OK, I've scoured thru CafePress and Zazzle. And quite honestly, there aren't a lot of Pittsburgh shirts out there worth talking about. And it bothers me that a lot of the shirts that I have on the Shirts-N-At site aren't even from people who live in Pittsburgh. Come on!!! There are plenty of creative people in Pittsburgh....get to work. Make something worth wearing!!!

I need another shirt for Saturday!!! Are there possibilities already out there? Yes. But I think that we need more.

Here are two shops that I think are great:

The Pittsburgh Shirt of the Week

OK, I've started this blog because I don't think there are enough cool Pittsburgh shirts out there. And Pittsburghers (no matter where they live now) really like to show their Pittsburgh pride. I have made an executive decision that I am the authority. Come here once a week to see a new Pittsburgh shirt. See more at www.Shirts-N-At.com. Have you designed a funny or cool Pittsburgh shirt? Let me know about it. Just e-mail me a link.

The first shirt that I'm going to put on here is actually a design of mine. My husband wears this shirt pretty often, and gets some good comments on it. So, here it is:

It says "Dahn Tahn" and has a picture of the city skyline. Simple? Yes. But I like simple, sometimes.

OK...send me your nominations...see you next week!
