I came across this shirt on Zazzle yesterday, and I love the twist on the Steelers logo. Perfect for Parade Day or any St. Patrick's Day activity! I like it :)

One for the Other One

In the middle of all the Steelers craziness, I discovered this new shirt at CafePress. Hopefully there will be more designs coming soon.

A New PittGirl shirt from Wear Pittsburgh

Well, you've seen the 'Minion of PittGirl' shirt, but here's the newest addition to the PittGirl tribute:

Basic, simple. I love it. Now who is going to be the first person to send the "I am PittGirl' shirt to Ken Rice? Find lots of styles and colors at Wear Pittsburgh

Steel City Pride

Here's the newest Pittsburgh shirt that I like. I really like the beat up, washed out vintage look. It's available on dark or light t shirts, plus I think on some stickers, too. And after we had that kick-ass win against New England, I have a ton of steel city pride :)

Well, it's been a while...

Yes, it has definitely been a while since I posted anything here. But between opening Downey's House, having a 5 year old who started kindergarten and designing my own t shirts, this blog was the first to be forgotten.

But, in honor of PittGirl, I've returned. And it looks like Woy is in the middle of getting some PittGirl shirts going. Not available quite yet, but I'll let you know when they are. Here's the graphic for the first shirt:

And here's the post over at Wear Pittsburgh.

Go Pens!

Hey, in honor of TWO playoff wins in a row for the Penguins, I've chosen this shirt-of-the-week. It's going to be hard to wait until Monday for another game!!

Hang in there, kids. And even though it's going to be chilly this weekend, the grass is green, the trees are budding, and it will be warmer soon!

A bit of slacking...

OK, I will be the first to recognize the fact that I've been slacking on this blog. No excuses from me. Really. But I'm getting back in the swing now. I recently received an email from a reader, and he designs Pittsburgh themed shirts. They're very affordable, and the look nice! Here's a sample and a link.

There are a few other great football shirts here, too. Here's the link to his store: Burgh Shirts

So, I'm dedicated to posting regularly here. Really. Hopefully you'll find some good holiday gifts. I am also re-doing the Shirts-N-At site. I will be including some official merchandise, including jewelry. Just as soon as the small people in my house give me a little bit of peace and quiet. Usually that's not until they're asleep.

In the mean time, feel free to check out my profile on a few other sites. And become my friend.

MySpace (the classic social networking site)
FaceBook (I'm still getting my profile together, but we can be friends)
Kaboodle (I like this place!!! It's strictly for shopping!)
StumbleUpon (EXTREMELY addictive)

Because I miss my Daddy

Hello all! Here's the shirt of the week. I've chosen this for two reasons. First of all, it's a recent addition to a shop at CafePress. Second of all, my Dad was a Pittsburgh Police Officer (Ray Sarnowski) and he is now in Florida. He's been there for about 10 years. And I miss him :)
This is the 'newer' patch. I believe that there is already a shirt with the older one at Shirts-N-At. Hey...enjoy this great weekend weather. I'm heading to Rock the Quarry tonight with the little ones! For more info on that, see www.panhandletrail.org.

OK, here is the shirt of the week, and it's from Tunesmith & Anthony. Here's a link to their blog. Funny, funny, funny.

Enjoy your weekend! I hope that it doesn't rain enough to change plans. We're headed to the Blues Fest in Carnegie this weekend....and next weekend is Rock the Quarry at the Panhandle Trail
